What do you look for in a video game in order for you to play it? List at least one game which stands out for you and explain why it is superior to the others you have played:
Gaming occupies a wide breadth of my allocated time for recreation, and as such I appreciate games for many reasons, so long as they convey/accomplish a directive cohesively.
Coming to mind..Baldur's Gate 2, as an excellent story and bread and butter RPG, did a unique job in it's time at fleshing out an artistically crafted world and melding the talents of writing, creativity and game-play mechanics into a memorable experience.
Starcraft 2, as a competitive experience was unmatched for me. A Extremely intense, balanced, and unforgiving 1v1 environment makes for a comprehensive realization of your own faults in-game and the necessity to eliminate or improve upon them, without excuses. Coupled with the well-organized ranked ladder system and serious spectator community/following, this game was truly a lesson in self improvement and the joy of mastering a skill-set.
Describe one of the greatest gaming moments of your life and why it stands out among others (Regarding multi player PC games):
At the end of the day, dynamic social interaction and persistent world-unpredictable possibilities is what is truly special about video games...
As a regular player of Day Z, you obtain some amount of patience. After loading into the game, or respawning after perma-death, you begin in a semi-random spot on the outlying parts of the map. This means without an easily obtainable means of transportation, travelling to meet up with friends is a painstaking experience.
After an hour and half of trying to group up with one another, my friend, new to the game, finally appears in the distance. In voice comms, as we gleefully express our mutual pleasure for the cumulation of our journey and new-found heterosexual physical closeness, I hear Eddie let out a high-pitched call of distress as he simultaneously falls over a unnoticed overhang, not 30 meters away. I quickly ran over, his sobbing laughter echoing through my headset as his grotesque crippled twitching remains struggle for his last breaths of life. I held him in my arms (aka: drag command) as we laughed until he bled out.
Explain briefly your least favorite kind of person to play with (characteristics, personality):
I can appreciate a wide range of dispositions, so long as they are confident in stating what they think/feel, while possessing sufficient introspection to understand their position in relation to others. I would rather a vocal, passionate comrade I disagree with, than a submissive one without emoted substance.
Material selfishness, a reserved stupor, or an aversion to bluntness/honesty are traits which are unattractive to me.
Describe an experience where you had to act as a leader (either planned or improvised):
At the birth of the friendship with my current (now unclanned) darkfall companions, we would play with a lot of new and mixed people. With the, then, unfamiliarity of playstyle and knowingness between us, it was always necessary to be meticulous and relentless in the combat calling, which I almost always took point on. This is the process that weeded out those who wished to be organized, improved, and begin playing for the challenge of the game, with the people less interested or unable to handle competitive or stressful situations.
During my lengthy interest in Starcraft 2, I also spent a lot of time coaching players new to the game via spectating while they played, offering instruction, suggestion and perspective/insight as necessary.

Clan related (!)
Why did you apply to Covert Operations?:
After becoming a free agent in the world, our band of like-minded players did a lengthy process of deliberation, tiered voting, and then tallying to decide where we wanted to apply.
How will you be an asset to Covert Operations?:
I have a true love for the game, improvement and sufficient willpower and mental fortitude to accomplish that which I seek. How could I not? : >
Do you have any friends in the clan? If so, list who they are and give a brief history with them.
Not yet. A group of us from similar origins are applying now, with the hope to integrate into covert ops
Previous clan(s) & the reason why you left:
Lost Minions. LM has a down to earth group of leaders, a full roster of interesting people to play with, and lots of action/drama surrounding the city and clan itself.
The group of us who decided to leave, felt the direction LM was taking was incongruent with what we wanted in a clan, however, and utterly internally indecisive/detached from the realities of the game and it's members. So much so that our efforts to mold direction, organization and order fell upon deaf ears. You can only be so many things at once, as a clan.
How involved were you in your previous clans? (Leadership positions, politics, etc):
Within a few weeks of being in the clan, I was informed by a general I was under serious consideration for officer. Logistic delay, carefulness , requests for arbitrary methods of brown nosing, and some time passed. By then I had reason to distrust security of clan bank and apathy towards desired responsibility of officers, so declined future offers of officer application.
During my time in LM, I led countless groups, official and (usually) unofficial engagements and tasks. I enjoyed not only improving under those who could teach me, but also elevating those I could help as much as I was able.
My most productive time in LM came from a Darkfall 1 vet, who's brief visit and leadership improved our perspective and combat ability more than all months prior combined.
