How long have you been gaming?:
I've been around PC gaming since 2004, the release of Rome:Total War sparked my enthusiasm for gaming.
What do you look for in a video game in order for you to play it? List at least one game which stands out for you and explain why it is superior to the others you have played:
I look for a diversity of options you can make within a game. Roleplaying has always been a part of what I look for. Making myself known and feared fighter. I prefer an open world environment to a set mission stage, but really depends on the game at hand. The one game that got me into MMORPGs' was RuneScape (The old build) and EvE. Both games quite sophisticated for my age at the time but I got really into them. Soon after maxing out my levels there, the game at the time I found was too repetitive for me so I decided to look for a new place to stay, Guild Wars was the next game I played but.. Sadly, it never really caught on for me.
The ultimate game of all time in my eyes was Fallen Earth (When it was owned by Icarus). The MMORPG had everything I ever needed within it. A huge array of crafting opportunities and roleplay within a Post Apocalyptic environment was something of a dream I had within a game but now a reality. Soon after leveling all my skills I decided to try out within the PvP of the game, this is what motivated me to start taking PvP serious. I don't know if it was a natural thing for me, but I soon became a respected and Honorable member within the community there. Through my own experiences there this is my choice for my favourite game.
Describe one of the greatest gaming moments of your life and why it stands out among others (Regarding multi player PC games):
The greatest moment for me, scouting the various enemy faction camps at the biggest PvP zone in Fallen Earth. Me and three friends had been driving around on our ATVs, looking for some fighting. It didn't take long for us to encounter the enemy. The four of us engaged five others, having won swiftly we thought it was over until they returned with around eleven-twelve players. But being fighters, we never back down to a fight. The battle commenced, we managed to take one player down as their group charged us, the callouts in TeamSpeak were what made this moment unforgetable.
The fight continued for around ten minutes, no teams were taking losses but our small group decided to change position and retreat to a flatter area of terrain before starting to take them down, having running out of bandages we knew we had to act quickly and takes them out, with pure DPS on a single target at a time we eventually came through to winning and their trashtalk suddenly came to an end, I was proud to have fought there and won.
Explain briefly your least favorite kind of person to play with (characteristics, personality):
I like to play with level headed, kind and humorous players. People who like to joke but takes a situation seriously when needed. I'm not a fan of boasting, but there are times when this is needed.
Describe an experience where you had to act as a leader (either planned or improvised):
Clan related (!)
I've taken charge of a small PvP team, Heaven's Thunder, within Fallen Earth. This was a good group, veterans of various older clans uniting as one to bring back the Player vs. Player community.
Why did you apply to Covert Operations?:
I've been in need of a clan with a good knowledge of gaming, and that takes the games seriously. I've wanted to be apart of something like Covert Operations since hearing upon not just playing a single game, so I did some research and viewed some of the discussions and I feel like this group of people would be nice to be around.
Being here would also be a good way to get introduced into other MMORPGs, and of course, gaming with the right people makes the experience 100% better. Bonding with a group makes gaming a whole new experience and I'd want to be involved within this.
How will you be an asset to Covert Operations?:
I can offer my knowledge, experience and dedication to Covert Operations. I'm a quick learner and can adapt to most situations in gaming. I can also give my advice about problems and offer all my attention on a problem or dispute. I also have British humor. *nods*
Do you have any friends in the clan? If so, list who they are and give a brief history with them.
Sadly, I do not but I hope too soon.
Previous clan(s) & the reason why you left:
I've never been involved with a cross-game clan, but the idea seems to be the most ideal.
How involved were you in your previous clans? (Leadership positions, politics, etc):
Apart from leading a single group of players, I've never been an "Officer" but I give my advice on how to go through or what to do next that would be most efficient and enjoyable for the players.
