As my previous application essentially relayed, I see this level of verbosity of an application for an online game clan to be pretty ridiculous. That said, I was drunk when I filled that one out so I essentially trolled through it taking jabs at it for this reason.
This time, I forced myself to go through it honestly instead of berating the mere existence of such a monolithic form as I did previously.

What do you look for in a video game in order for you to play it? List at least one game which stands out for you and explain why it is superior to the others you have played:
I look for manual aiming; if auto targetting is there I can easily dismiss the game as a candidate as I know I'd never want to play it. The original darkfall, minus a few key areas of shittiness present, stands out heavily. However, I must revert back to the original quakeworld team fortress as a game that stands out simply due to the mechanics. So many possibilities; fast paced combat with bunny hopping, rocket jumping, grenade jumping, pipe jumping, ... Pure fun.
Describe the greatest gaming moment in your life and why it stands out among others (Regarding multi player PC games):

That Probably covers it. Ridiculously outnumbered fight, lasted like 45 minutes with 20 of us geared vs 77 attackers, with us running around meleeing like crazy in a mahirim keep. We lost the siege, but winning that first push was an amazing feeling, given the numbers... particularly because I had programmatic accuracy with regard to who was present, making the only point of contention about ~3-5 names on each side who claimed to have not been there (lies) and 2 of our guys (mentioned later in the thread) who were running around naked the entire time after logging in and instantly dying (making our number at most 22, if you count those). Anyway, great fight.
Explain briefly your least favorite kind of person to play with (characteristics, personality):
People who care only about winning, not about the fun involved in skillful engagements. People who do everything they can to win even when the actions taken are ridiculous. Examples of this being people who advocate getting 60 zerglings to siege a holding from a 15 man clan. On a more personal level, I hate people who are ridiculously cocky and self-absorbed. More-so, I remember playing with some friends in the past that weren't very good at the game... and I also remember certain people avoiding grouping with us because of how inferior they perceived my friend to be...
How do you typically handle working with people like the one mentioned above?:
I don't play on their sides if they're the zergling attitude type. The self-centered type, I play with them fine, you just won't find me chatting it up with them outside of engagements and you certainly won't find me organizing a small group to roam about which includes them in it. I may join a group that exists with them, but I wouldn't actively seek that person.
Describe an experience where you had to act as a leader (either planned or improvised):
I operate better as a right-hand man, where I make observations and suggestions but don't really lead as much unless I have to.. However, on EU1 I acted essentially as the pvp leader of the groups I played with most of the time, because we lacked any real leader or the leadership was poor (depending upon the time). I did pretty well with it, but it's not my preferred approach. I prefer to advise (and have my statements noted, at least) instead of leading.
I absolutely can't stand, however, groups where the leadership structure is essentially "you aren't a leader, shut the fuck up" which encourages leadership to be short of information instead of informed.
What sort of things define a good leader to you?:
I'm good at being a squirrelly little shit, meaning I'll stay alive until towards the end of most fights and thus more useful with calling strategies (at least in DF1 that was so). Also, I'm at minimum clever enough to call out some coherent and reasonably tactical strategies.
Darkfall related (!)
What sort of role will you prefer in Unholy Wars?:
I was leaning toward skirmisher but ultimately whichever role has the most movement skills will be the one I choose. Didn't play beta enough to make this determination.
How much time will you be able to play Unholy Wars each day:
~5-6 hours on weekdays, more on weekends... this is disregarding times where I deprive myself of sleep like a moron and subsequently hate myself the next day at work.
Did you play the original Darkfall? If so, for how long?:
Yes, from EU launch to once NA was starting to be referred to as dead. Eventually quit because I was having more fun playing APB than I was logging in for a siege, getting ~3fps (my pc is better now!) and then spending the entire siege floating in Wall Of Force in a blob of shitty enemies outnumbering us massively... stormblasting out of one WoF into another, rinse and repeat.
If you answered 'YES' above, use this section to talk about what you liked/disliked about Darkfall and any interesting experiences you had in it:
I loved the movement skills and the fluid movement in general. Bunny hopping added a skillful way to escape from fights rather than the early-EU annoyance of "he's mounted, I'm mounted, he's straight-lining... guess we get to chase for an hour before he fucks up in choosing his path. zzzz". I basically loved everything about the game other than WoF's effects on other players (I proposed keeping the effect it has on yourself, but removing any effect on others, so you could still use it for self propulsion). Unfortunately a lot of that fun mentioned is removed in unholy wars, but that's another story.
What is going to be your main gaming motivation while playing Unholy Wars?:
Competitive PVP; it's all I play games for anymore.
Clan related (!)
Why did you apply to Covert Operations?:
Having played against you guys on so many occasions in the past, and knowing I don't want to play with the people I was playing with in DF1.
How will you be an asset to Covert Operations?:
I'm not exactly terrible as a pvper, I follow orders unless they're exceedingly retarded... keeping in mind that branching out alone on my "no, that's retarded" schtick tends to be suicidal, thus seeking group consensus in these cases. I have a pretty good combat strategy as well... and I can lead reasonably well, but again, I prefer to be one notch down from that.
Do you have any friends in the clan? If so, list who they are and give a brief history with them.
I've been playing APB with Shado (nearly) daily for a long time now, and played a few times with Exo and some other guy. Don't really have any beyond that.
Previous clan(s) & the reason why you left:
I started out by listening to xpiher duminous racial-alliance spamming (when I was a mahirim) and joined his clan "30 pieces of silver". Upon joining, we gathered some members and I essentially led that clan with regards to PVP (but not politics). Eventually we joined stasis, then later merged into NME. We stayed in NME until the NA server opened; everyone rerolled new characters except myself, grizzly, and xpiher. We floated around for a while and joined Deviance, where we somehow inherited the clan when the leadership quit playing. After transfers, we rejoined NME on NA, but after playing with them ~4 months post-transfers grizzly and I decided that we wanted to play with better pvpers (as NME at that point was basically all terrible at pvp, and every fight ended up being me and grizzly alone after the first few minutes). We tried out for fatality (that was DHW's name at that particular time) and got in, and stayed there to the end.
How involved were you in your previous clans? (Leadership positions, politics, etc):
This was pretty much already covered, but I was PVP leader of my group on EU. On NA, I had SG status in DHW and was heavily involved. I wasn't quite in the "inner circle" there, though I was as close as an outsider could be I reckon. Only the EU guys were in that.
This time, I forced myself to go through it honestly instead of berating the mere existence of such a monolithic form as I did previously.
